Mount Lemmon Time Trial – May 5th

What?

A 10 mile hill climb time trial up Tucson's most famous mountain. Vertical gain is about 3000 feet.

Where?

The TT begins near the intersection of Snyder road and Catalina highway, and finishes 9 miles later at Seven Cataracts Overlook. From Phoenix, take I-10 to Grant Road. Go east on Grant 10 miles to Tanque Verde. Go left on Tanque Verde and follow the signs for Mount Lemmon/Catalina Highway.

When?

May 5, 2013. Registration is from 5:00-6:00 am. First rider off at 6:30.

How Much?

$20 registration. Juniors $3. One day licenses $10. Buy a NEW annual USAC license and ride this race for free. Saguaro Velo members get free entry to all Saguaro Velo events.

Prize List

Bragging rights only. Series champions win a t-shirt. Trophies to the Best Mountain Man and Best Mountain Woman for combined lowest time on Kitt Peak and Mount Lemmon.

We'll do in-person pre-registration and packet pick-up on May 4th from 4-8 pm at Lerua's Mexican Restaurant, 2005 E Broadway Blvd, Tucson. Online registration at www.azcycling.com
