Arizona State Track Championships

July 23 and 24, 2005-San Diego Velodrome

Events

Saguaro Velo is promoting the Arizona Track Championships at the San Diego Velodrome on July 23rd and 24th, 2005. Events will include Flying 200s, standing start TTs, pursuits, team sprint, match sprint and mass start events.

As usual, SV track events are open to all riders. Non-Arizona riders are more than welcome to participate. Only AZ riders are eligible for championships.

Entry is $10 per event. One day licenses will be available and cost $10, but one day license holders are not eligible for state championship medals.

Schedule

We'll be promoting two sessions on Saturday and one on Sunday. A tentative schedule is below but please check the schedule at the track when you register.

Saturday, June 25, 2005

8-9 am: Registration and warm up (Open to all riders)
9:15-10:00 am: Flying 200s
10:15-11:00 am: 500s and kilos
11:15-11:30 am: Team Sprint
11:30-1:00 pm: Break
1:00 pm: Match sprint

Sunday, June 26, 2005

8:00-9:00 am: Registration and warm up (Open to all riders)
9:15-10:30 am: Individual Pursuits (2000, 4000, 3000)
10:45-11:15 am: Men's Points race (Distance determined by number of entrants. At least 10k.)
11:15-11:45 am: Women's Scratch race.
11:45-12:00 am: Junior's mass start race.

Prize List

Medals to the top 3 finishers in each event. Champions may purchase Voler state champion clothing.
